We appreciate that it is particularly difficult for our residents to be apart from their families and friends and we have been working hard to support our residents to keep in touch with their families and friends using technology.
The emerging evidence and guidance on COVID-19 is rapidly evolving. The scientific evidence is still that the restriction of movement and limiting social contact is a core component of keeping everyone as safe as possible. During the full lockdown period, we followed Government advice and asked that visitors, including family members, friends and other professionals did not visit any of our sites.”
Inspired Homes Network Ltd is a quality care, providing care for over 32 years in the Conwy area. We care for vulnerable adults ranging from dementia to learning disabilities. We invest in getting to know each of our residents personally, to gain a developed understanding of each individuals life and needs. At Inspired Homes Network, our service users are encouraged to spend their days how they want to – being supported to still enjoy the things they loved doing before living in the home. We have a devoted activities team that work closely with each individual to really get to know and understand them. This way, we are able to tailor activities that are engaging, around the individual’s interests, likes and dislikes. Whether it is taking part in a favourite hobby or trying out something completely new, there is always something going on daily for people to enjoy, either as part of a group or on their own.
FOOD AND NUTRITION!
We are proud of our home-made meals, with a dedicated chef ensures each meal is carefully designed to be enjoyable for each service user. Balanced nutrition is provided to our service users, with multiple choice for individual desires and needs. Menus are regularly rotated to ensure residents ‘likes and dislikes’ are met, ensuring those that require specialised diets are being met. We have a clear and colourful menu, clearly showing what is on offer for that specific day. Making it an enjoyable and welcoming when service users are required to choose their meal.
